SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering. The potato digger contains a spatial frame, a trailer device for connecting the digger to the tractor, three digging ploughshares, a shaking grate and a lifting elevator made of fiberglass rods with metal tips. The metal tip of the fiberglass rod of the lifting elevator is made detachable and consists of a finger and a connecting tube having internal cylindrical and conical cavities with metric and conical threads.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the connection of a fiberglass rod with a metal tip is provided.
