FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to training systems in the field of physics and metallurgy designed to signal and determine the moment of phase transition when studying the kinematic viscosity of a sample of high-temperature metals and alloys. The device contains a viscometric module in a vacuum and water-cooled chamber, along the axis of which a suspension system with a crucible, a suspension system acceleration unit with a switch, a mirror, a light source, a photodetector, a visual and audio signaling unit with adjustable parameters connected to a computer is placed in the heating zone of the electric heater. A threshold unit with an adjustable threshold reference level is additionally introduced into the device, the input and output of which are connected via the first data bus and control signals to the computer, the output of the threshold unit is connected to the input of the above-mentioned visual and audio signaling unit via the second data bus and control signals.
EFFECT: ensuring the implementation of the indication and signaling of the phase transition in the study of the kinematic viscosity of metals and alloys by the method for torsional vibrations of the sample.
