FIELD: gas flow meters.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrasonic gas flow meters. The invention can be used where gas flow measurement is required. The ultrasonic gas flow meter contains a measuring chamber, nozzles for installing transceivers, at least one pair of piezoelectric transceivers, each of which consists of two blocks connected between them so that their symmetry axes are inclined to each other at a certain angle, and the symmetry axis of the pipes is perpendicular to the axis symmetry of the measuring chamber. The transceiver surfaces of the transceiver units can be located in the measuring chamber opposite each other, and their symmetry axes coincide, or a mirror is installed inside the measuring chamber, and the angular positions of the transceiver surfaces of each of the pairs of transceivers are oriented so that the symmetry axes of the transceiver units in each pair lie in one plane, perpendicular to the plane of the mirror, intersect on the reflecting surface of the mirror and have angles relative to the perpendicular to the mirror surface with the same values and with opposite signs.
EFFECT: reduction of overall dimensions, simplification of the design and significant simplification of the manufacturing technology of the measuring chamber, as well as an increase in the accuracy of gas flow measurement.
