FIELD: mining and exploration.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the mining and exploration field. The invention relates to a device and method for taking representative samples of drill cuttings from a drilling fluid circulation system and is an auxiliary tool in the construction of oil and gas wells. The device for sampling and washing drilling cuttings contains a fastening system consisting of two units - flexible for fastening to the frame of slurry vibrating screens and rigid, represented by a clamping device for fastening at the discharge part of the vibrating screens, a steam-water line for supplying flushing fluid, divided into two branches - the first , connected to the upper part of the landslide cutter, intended for rough washing of the sample from the drilling fluid, and the second, connected to the receiving device for fine additional cleaning. The landslide sludge cutter is made in the form of an inclined sheet perforated sieve. The receiving device consists of a box with a perforated bottom, and a removable case with a bottom made of sieve fabric is installed in the lower part of the box. A container with reagents is connected to the second branch of the steam-water line, designed to reduce the viscosity of the drilling fluid and facilitate its further cleaning. In addition, it contains a receiving box installed in the lower part of the cutter for capturing landslide cuttings and a stop-type gate installed in the upper part of the cutter for adjusting the volume of cuttings.

EFFECT: ensuring continuous semi-automatic sampling and washing of samples of drill cuttings from oil and gas wells.
