FIELD: building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an extending modular dividing wall usable for separating living premises or capable of functioning as a garage door, installed on two parallel walls in the premises and consisting (Fig. 1.1) of a left-side track assembly A secured with multiple known fasteners, such as pins and screws, on the nominal left-side wall of the premises; the right-side track assembly B, mirroring the left-side track A and secured with multiple known fasteners, such as pins and screws, on the nominal right-side wall of the premises; a drive mechanism C, and an assembly of multiple mobile panels D. The extending modular dividing wall is designed so that i) when used inside or outside of a building, in the retracted (pushed-in) state, the system resembles a horizontal beam, and in the extended state functions as a wall; ii) when used outside of a building, in the retracted (pushed-in) state, the system resembles a horizontal beam, and in the extended state functions as a garage door; iii) the system is triggered upon electronic command, and in the event of a power failure, can be driven manually; iv) when used indoors both inside and outside the building, in the extended state, the system can function as a projection screen or an advertising surface.

EFFECT: creation of a functional extending door for use inside and outside of buildings.
