FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for obtaining derivatives of [1,2,4] dichalcogen-azole[4,3-a]pyridinium of the general formula
,
including the interaction of isochalcogencyanates of the general formula R-N=C=X2 with 2-pyridine selenide halide at an equal molar ratio in a methylene chloride medium at room temperature for 3-6 hours, where X2 is selenium or sulfur, and R is substituted aryl.
EFFECT: effective method for obtaining new derivatives of [1,2,4]dichalcogen-azole[4,3-a]pyridinium salts has been proposed, improved due to simplicity of implementation and high yields of target compounds.
