FIELD: navigation.

SUBSTANCE: method for linking mine explosive barriers (MVZ) applying consumer navigation equipment (NAP) for individual use of satellite navigation systems (SNS) by the relative method for determining coordinates relates to the topogeodetic and navigation support of the engineering support problem of MVZ apparatus, in particular, to the fixation thereof. MVZ fixation consists in linking the MVZ to landmarks available in the area and on the topographic maps for the purpose of accurately locating the barriers on the map and in the area, providing a possibility of ensuring safe actions of the troops, quickly locating the installed (explored) barriers during mine-clearance operations thereon. The basis of the method is the relative constancy of a significant part of errors in SNS in time and in space and the equal value thereof for NAP. In order to reduce the effect of said errors, the obtained coordinates of the fixed points of MVZ are corrected. The method consists of the following stages. Stage 1. Obtaining the coordinates of the initial landmark. Stage 2. Selecting the option of determining the coordinates of the fixed points. Stage 3. Determining the updated coordinates of the fixed points and landmarks. Stage 4. Recording the updated coordinates in the log book of the barrier. Stage 5. Determining the sufficiency of the fixed points and landmarks wherefor the coordinates were updated. Stage 6. Calculating the magnetic azimuths and distances between the fixed points and landmarks. Stage 7. Recording the calculated values of magnetic azimuths and distances between the fixed points and landmarks on the linking scheme.

EFFECT: possibility of raising the accuracy of linking of the MVZ, thereby reducing the area of mine danger, ensuring rapid location for mine and explosive barriers for subsequent breaking or mine-clearance operations.
