SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The soil-cultivating roller is a hollow cylinder (1) equipped with an axle (2) and mounted on a frame (3) for rotation. Inside the hollow cylinder (1) there is a smooth cylinder (4), the diameter of which is less than the radius of the hollow cylinder (1). Hollow cylinder (1) and smooth cylinder (4) are perforated with identical oval holes (5). The diameter of the support circles of the holes (5) is equal to half of the maximum size of the soil clod specified by the agrotechnical requirements. The distance between the centers of the support circles is equal to their diameter. The holes (5) in the hollow and smooth cylinders (1 and 4) are staggered with their major axis parallel to the axis (2) of the tillage roller. The distance between adjacent holes (5), measured along the axis (2) of the soil-cultivating roller, is equal to the width of the holes (5), and the distance between adjacent rows of holes (5) located parallel to the axis (2) of the soil-cultivating roller is equal to the diameter of their support circle.

EFFECT: improved quality of soil rolling and crumbling of soil clods.
