FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: soil-cultivating roller is a hollow cylinder equipped with an axis (1) with ribs (2) evenly spaced around the circumference connecting the vertical discs (3), as well as the axis (1) of the hollow cylinder connected to the hitch (4) and mounted for rotation separately from the vertical discs (3) through the transmission mechanism (5) mounted on the hitch (4). Auxiliary discs (6) are rigidly mounted on the axis of the hollow cylinder. The radius of the auxiliary discs is less than the distance from the centre line of the hollow cylinder to the inner surface of the ribs (2) by half the diameter of the soil clod established by the agrotechnical requirements. Perforated troughs (7) are installed axially and at equal distance from each other from the lateral sides along the periphery on both sides of the auxiliary discs (6). The length of the perforated troughs is equal to two agrotechnically specified maximum sizes of a soil clod. Perforated grooves (7) on adjacent auxiliary discs (6) are staggered. The holes in the perforated troughs (7) are also made in a checkerboard pattern. The diameter of the holes does not exceed the maximum size of the soil clod specified by agrotechnical requirements.

EFFECT: improved quality of soil rolling and braking of soil clods.
