FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to means of transportation and storage of liquids, gases, aggressive substances, chemical and petrochemical products. The tank container contains a cylindrical casing (1) with an internal boiler, two end frames with vertical and horizontal cross beams, end corner braces connecting adjacent beams of end frames, lower and upper corner fitting stops (13). On opposite sides of the tank are the end rings (9) of the casing shell, each of which is rigidly connected to the end frame and to the casing. Four upper and four lower longitudinal braces (8) are rigidly connected to the casing through a reinforcing plate (10) on one side, the other side is rigidly connected to the corresponding angular zone of the end frame. Between the two lower braces and the lower crossbeam of the end frame there is a bottom sheet rigidly connected with them. Each end ring (9) is rigidly connected by welding to the end corner braces of the end frame. The angle α between the longitudinal axes of the upper braces and between the longitudinal axes of the lower braces is in the range 55-75°. The angle β between the longitudinal axis of each upper brace and the longitudinal axis of the casing is no more than 30°, the angle between the axis of each lower brace and the longitudinal axis of the casing is in the range 22-34°.

EFFECT: invention increases the useful volume of the tank container and the load capacity while maintaining the required reliability and durability.
