SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of display screens. A display screen for an electronic device contains: a functional area made with the possibility of provision of a function of the electronic device and containing a set of pixel points, wherein the set of pixel points limits an intermediate area between them; and a signal emitter placed in the intermediate area. The display screen additionally contains a switch connected to the signal emitter and at least one of the set of pixel points. At the same time, the switch is made with the possibility of turning on the signal emitter and turning off the mentioned at least one of the set of pixel points, when receiving the first control signal, as well as with the possibility of turning on the mentioned at least one of the set of pixel points and turning off the mentioned signal emitter, when receiving the second control signal.
EFFECT: invention allows for increase in the efficiency of control of screen brightness.
