SUBSTANCE: device has a first display configured to display user content and having an active display mode, wherein said user content is persistently displayed through active electrical powering of the display, and a second display configured to display user content and having a passive display mode, wherein said user content is persistently displayed without active electrical powering of the display, the first display lying on top of the second display and at least partially overlapping the second display to form an overlapped area of the second display, wherein content on the second display in the overlapped area is seen through the first display.
EFFECT: reduced loss of power and time owing to simultaneous viewing of content displayed by the first display and content displayed by the second display in the overlapped area.
