SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by displaying on the first display of the portable communication device the first screen of an application, which has the first resolution and the first size, when the body of the portable communication device is in a folded state, based on the transition of the body from the folded state to the unfolded state: display on the second display of the portable communication device an enlarged captured image of at least a portion of the first screen that was displayed on the first display before entering the unfolded state, and, after displaying the enlarged captured image, displaying on the second display the second application screen that has the second resolution and the second size corresponding to the second display, instead of enlarged captured image.

EFFECT: reducing the time required to update the image of the second screen of a foldable electronic device when the state changes from a folded state to an unfolded state.
