FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the gas industry and can be used in the operation of compressor stations, in particular, in air purification apparatus (hereinafter referred to as VOU) of gas pumping units (hereinafter referred to as GPA). Apparatus for increasing the effectiveness of purifying the cycle air of a gas pumping unit constitutes a structure with a labyrinth-type internal channel, welded from a galvanised sheet with a thickness of 0.5 to 0.9 mm and installed by in-factory fittings and the perforated holes of the apparatus on the body of combined filtration systems of the gas pumping unit. The apparatus purifies the cycle air from snow, dust, and other particles, subsequently removing said particles through six drainage holes of the apparatus 40 to 50 mm in a diameter into the atmosphere.
EFFECT: invention raises the effectiveness of purifying the cycle air of the GPA from snow, dust, and other particles, and increases the productivity of VOU of the GPA by preventing clogging of the purification stages thereof with snow masses, dust, or other particles.
