FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and, in particular, to installations for cleaning and cooling air taken from the atmosphere before its supply to a gas compressor unit (GCU) with a gas turbine drive of a compressor station and can be used in operation of the compressor station of main gas pipelines. In the method of air preparation, atmospheric air is supplied to the inlet of a complex air treatment plant (CATP). Atmospheric air is subjected to rough cleaning, cooled in heat exchangers of air cooling system, separated from air of drop moisture, air is subjected to fine cleaning and supplied to inlet of gas compressor unit. Water cooled in an absorption lithium bromide refrigerating machine (ALBRM) is fed into heat exchangers of the air cooling system. As a heat source, exhaust flue gases of the gas turbine drive of the gas compressor unit are supplied to the inlet of the ALBRM. Cooling tower is used to remove heat from the ALBRM. Make-up water is supplied to the cooling tower from the storage tank, where fresh water, condensate formed in the heat exchangers and drop moisture separated in the drop catcher are supplied.
EFFECT: increasing energy efficiency of operation of gas compressor unit with gas turbine drive of compressor station of main gas line.
