FIELD: silicate technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of silicate technology and, in particular, to compositions of ceramic masses that can be used for the manufacture of facing tiles suitable for interior and exterior wall cladding, stove tiles, decorative and artistic products. The ceramic mass includes pegmatite dedusting waste, clay and additionally quartz sand. Pegmatite dedusting wastes with a high content of fine fractions 0.001-0.06 mm more than 65% are used, including, wt.%: quartz 45%, feldspar: microcline, plagioclase, albite 55%, single grains of magnetite, biotite. As a plastic component, clay of the hydromicaceous type is used, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: pegmatite dedusting waste - 25-40, clay of the hydromicaceous type - 52-65; quartz sand - 8-10. Pegmatite dedusting wastes have the following chemical composition, in wt.%: SiO₂ - 69.75-70.34; TiO₂ - 0.20-0.31; Al₂O₃ - 15.91-16.96; Fe₂O₃ total - 0.55-0.69; Na₂O - 2.70-3.01; K₂O - 7.32-7.66; CaO - 0.9-1.17; P₂O₅ - 0.01-0.02; calcination losses - 0.42-0.63.

EFFECT: increase in mechanical strength with a decrease in the firing temperature of products.
