FIELD: drilling.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an insert for a drilling tool and a drill bit, in which a case includes one or more of the mentioned inserts. The insert for the drilling tool is made of a hard alloy, which includes solid components of tungsten carbide (hereinafter – WC) in a binding phase Ni-Cr or Ni-Co-Cr. The hard alloy includes 3.5-18 wt.% of the binding phase containing >0 wt.% of Ni, the mass ratio of Cr/(Ni+Co) is 0.02-0.19, and WC and impurities are the rest. The difference between hardness at depth of 0.3 mm from the surface at any point of the insert for the drilling tool and the minimal hardness of the main weight of the insert for the drilling tool at depth of 4.8 mm from its surface is at least 20 HV3.
EFFECT: insert for a drilling tool is provided, having improved corrosion resistance, increased wear resistance, and increased impact strength.
