FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cemented carbide material, method of its production and tool from said material. Material contains: a. tungsten carb grains; b. material of binder matrix containing any of cobalt, nickel and iron or their mixture or consisting of them, where grains of tungsten carbide are located in material of binder matrix, wherein binder matrix material also contains tantalum-containing inclusions which are carbide nanoparticles. Tantalum-containing inclusions have a spherical, plate-like or needle-like shape. Content of tantalum ranges from 1.5 weight percent to 3.5 weight percent of binder content. Tantalum-containing inclusions are characterized by an average maximum linear size of not more than 80 nm. Cemented carbide material essentially does not contain tantalum-containing grains characterized by the largest average linear dimension making more than 500 nm.

EFFECT: higher resistance of material to mechanical fatigue.
