FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a conical metal cup. Cup comprises multiple conical sections between the upper end and the lower end with a step between each two adjacent conical sections. Each of the conical sections has a conical profile and is made of thin-walled aluminium with a wall thickness from 0.0040 inches to 0.0090 inches. The lower end of the cup has a dome-shaped section transitioning into a first convex bend with a first radius between 0.050 and 0.20 inches. The first convex bend transitions into an inward-directed conical side wall, inclined inward toward the central longitudinal axis of the cup so that the upper end of the inward-directed conical side wall is closer to the centreline of the cup than the lower end thereof. The inward-directed conical side wall transitions into a first concave bend with a second radius between 0.050 and 0.20 inches. The concave bend transitions into a second convex bend with a third radius between 0.030 and 0.20 inches.
EFFECT: transportation and storage of the cups is improved.
