FIELD: personal protective equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personal protective equipment, passive and dynamic protection of devices, installations, transport and stationary devices. Multilayer armor protection consists of a shell (1) and protective elements (2). Protective elements (2) in cross section are made with arcuate convex upper and rectilinear lower parts, arranged in several rows one above the other in a checkerboard pattern with support of the overlying rows along the lines of the tops of the arcs of the sections of the underlying rows, inside they have additional flat or arched armor plates (4) and shock-absorbing or explosive filler (3).
EFFECT: increased efficiency of multilayer armor protection and weight reduction.
