SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. A device for disinfecting seeds before sowing with cold atmospheric air plasma is proposed, which consists of a chamber, an air ionizer, a fan, a connecting pipe, a hopper, a belt conveyor with the possibility of changing the speed of movement. In this case, the air ionizer consists of a DC plasma torch and a generator with a voltage regulator on the electrode up to 20 kV. The fan is connected to the air ionizer by a connecting pipe, and the air ionizer is connected to the chamber. Also proposed is a method for disinfecting seeds before sowing with cold atmospheric air plasma, implemented using this device.
EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency during use.
