FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to means of stimulating the germination of agricultural crop seeds; it can be used for pre-sowing treatment of grain crop seeds. A method for pre-sowing treatment of spring wheat seeds is characterized by the fact that wheat seeds are pre-cleaned from foreign inclusions, impurities of seeds of other varieties, after which they are dried to natural humidity of 7-13%, after which they are loaded into a technological chamber for plasma treatment so that seeds are evenly distributed over the surface of flat anode without touching each other, and then seeds are processed in volumetric low-temperature non-equilibrium argon plasma generated by glow discharge of constant voltage in the electrode system: multi-pointed cathode - flat anode at atmospheric pressure and the impact power on wheat seeds of 1.4·10-3-1.6·10-3 W/cm3 with duration of 30-240 s.
EFFECT: technical result is acceleration of seed germination, reduction of the growing season, increase of their yield.
