FIELD: agriculture; agronomy; agrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes soil treatment by stubble plowing, moldboard plowing to depth of 20–22 cm, autumn leveling, spring harrowing, pre-sowing cultivation, sowing of seeds in early spring period with "physical ripeness" of soil and foliar application of crops in a certain phase of vegetation with complex liquid fertilizers containing zinc and boron in chelate form. Pre-sowing cultivation is carried out at depth of 4 cm. Foliar dressing of crops is carried out in the phase of crop stemming with microfertilizer containing copper sulphate, lithium chloride, ammonium molybdate, potassium hydroxide and chelating agents: amber and citric acids. Weight fraction of nutrients in the working solution of the liquid fertilizer is as follows: succinic acid—70.3 g/l, citric acid—114.2 g/l, potassium hydroxide—120 g/l, zinc—10 g/l, copper sulphate—4.7 g/l, boric acid—35 g/l, ammonium molybdate—3 g/l, lithium chloride—2.8 g/l. Fertilizer application dose is 1 l/ha, and the working fluid consumption is 200 l/ha.

EFFECT: method provides increase in yield and oil content of seeds of spring brown mustard due to increase in vegetative growth and development of plants.
