FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology of synthesis and activation of metal-organic polymers for creation of functional block materials – adsorbents, namely to a method for the production of thermally activated metal-organic coordination polymer Cu-BTC. The method includes interaction during mixing of a solution of copper Cu (II) nitrate with a solution of 1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylic acid, using as a solvent N,N'-dimethylformamide, with the formation of a porous structure and subsequent activation, while activation is carried out by a combined method including washing with an organic solvent heated to a temperature of 40-60°C, drying at a temperature of 90-120°C, thermal-vacuum activation at a temperature of 110-200°C. Thermally activated metal-organic coordination polymer Cu-BTC, methods for the production of a composite nano-porous adsorbent, and a composite nano-porous adsorbent are also proposed.
EFFECT: improvement of adsorption properties of metal-organic coordination polymer Cu-BTC, in particular increase in a specific volume of adsorbent micropores and a specific surface of pores, while saving relatively narrow radii of micropores, control of average sizes of micropores by changing activation parameters, as well as creation of new composite nano-porous adsorbents based on thermally activated metal-organic coordination polymer Cu-BTC with increased density and high degree of saving a porous structure during compaction.
