FIELD: microporous adsorbents.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in green energy processes for storing and transporting gases at elevated pressures, separating gas mixtures, and detecting chemical compounds when used in highly selective adsorption sensors. A metalorganic framework structure (MFS) of cerium benzene tricarboxylate Ce-BTC with the chemical formula CeC12H10NO7 in the dehydrated state is proposed, characterized by thermal stability of the porous framework at temperatures up to 300°C, containing micropores with a specific surface of 750 to 800 m2/g, an average radius of 0.33-0.50 nm, a micropore volume of 0.30-0.35 cm3/g. A method is proposed for obtaining an organometallic framework structure of Ce-BTC.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to obtain MFS based on rare-earth elements with a precise porous structure, having a narrow pore size distribution, and to improve the sorption characteristics of MFS.
