FIELD: suspension mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to suspension mechanisms. The winch contains a drum with a wound rope, a synchronous electric motor connected to the drum and capable of operating in motor and generator mode when the rope is released, as well as a control unit. The electric motor is connected to a three-phase AC network through a rectifier made on the basis of a bridge diode circuit. A brake module is attached to the inverter. The braking module contains a capacitor, a ballast resistor and a transistor switch. The capacitor has a parallel connection with a ballast resistor and a transistor switch connected in series with each other. When the electric motor is running in generator mode, the control unit closes the transistor switch when the capacitor voltage rises to the first threshold value and opens the switch when the capacitor voltage drops to the second threshold value. The second value is less than the first value, but higher than the maximum voltage at the rectifier output.
EFFECT: range of descent speeds is expanding.
