FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to power plants with an outboard water cannon for marine vehicles. The power plant with an outboard water cannon for marine vehicles contains a spinner, which, in its inner part, accommodates a propeller consisting of a pump actuated for the creation of a fluid flow through the spinner in accordance with direction (VF) of movement of an output flow. The spinner contains a front dynamic intake with passage sections significantly increasing in accordance with the above-mentioned direction (VF) of movement of the output flow, so that to cause reduction in a local speed of fluid and increase in pressure. A rear output nozzle has passage sections significantly decreasing in direction (VF) of movement of the output fluid flow, so that to cause increase in the local speed of fluid and reduction in pressure, which forms a jet stream creating thrust at an outlet of the output nozzle.
EFFECT: increase in performance, reliability, and efficiency, and prevention of cavitation in the operation of a power plant.
