FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrophoretic deposition of a solid electrolyte layer on a non-conductive porous substrate and can be used for the manufacture of solid oxide fuel cells with a thin-film electrolyte. The method involves the synthesis of a conductive layer of polypyrrole on the surface of a non-conductive substrate and electrophoretic deposition of a solid electrolyte layer on a non-conductive substrate with a conductive layer of polypyrrole. The synthesis of the conductive layer of polypyrrole is carried out by chemical polymerization of polypyrrole in an aqueous solution containing 98% ammonium persulfate with a concentration of 0.03 M and 97.5% sodium salt of para-toluene sulfonic acid with a concentration of 0.03 M, into which, with constant stirring at 0°C, 98% pyrrole monomer with a concentration of 0.03 M is added. After the synthesis of the conductive layer of polypyrrole begins, the substrate is immersed in the resulting solution, the synthesis of the conductive layer of polypyrrole is carried out at room temperature for 3-3.5 hours.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to accelerate the synthesis of polypyrrole on non-conductive substrates, increase the uniformity of the conductive properties of polypyrrole, as well as the quality of the solid electrolyte layer deposited by electrophoresis through the application of a sublayer of polypyrrole to the surface of the substrates.
