FIELD: insulation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vibration absorbing material intended for use in automotive, watercraft and aircraft engineering, in civil and industrial building for reducing the vibration and structural noise of various structures, such as thin-walled metal and plastic structures. Vibration absorbing material includes butyl rubber and a light filler as a base; wherein the polymer layer additionally includes low molecular weight polyisobutylene, and wood flour or a mixture of wood flour and aluminosilicate microspheres is used as a light filler.
EFFECT: invention enhances the vibration absorbing properties of the vibration absorbing material made in a structure with a bounding layer and including a polymer layer with a 0.75 to 1 g/cm3 density.
