FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering (instrument making), namely to compositions for temporary sealing of cavities and seams in the manufacture of refrigeration equipment. Described is a sealing composition for temporary sealing of refrigeration equipment, including low molecular weight polyethylene, a filler and a diluent, characterized in that the composition additionally contains a compatibilizer - stearic or palmitic acid, chalk is used as a filler, and industrial petroleum oil is used as a diluent, with the following ratio of components, parts by weight: low molecular weight polyethylene 50-150, chalk 200-650, industrial oil 10-40, compatibilizer 5-40.
EFFECT: development of a temporary sealing material that will provide a reliable overlap of cavities when assembling refrigeration equipment, safe for manual application.
