FIELD: ice cleaning devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of dry ice cleaning devices. A device for reducing the size of dry ice granules for dry ice cleaning devices, comprising a device for supplying dry ice to a device for mixing dry ice particles with a gaseous medium stream, and the granulated dry ice has a size suitable for dry ice cleaning devices, and the device for reducing the size of the granules dry ice contains a matrix with holes for the passage of granular ice and a pushing element for pushing granular ice into the specified matrix, characterized in that the matrix (2) is located in the housing (1) having at least one inclined surface (11) inclined inside the housing (1) to the matrix (2), wherein the body (1) is configured to be connected to the dry ice supply device to the device for mixing dry ice particles with the gaseous medium flow available in the dry ice cleaning device, and the specified pushing element (3, 31 , 32) is installed above the matrix (2) with the possibility of moving for granulated ice into the matrix (2) and has at least one surface (313, 322) facing the matrix (2) and forming an acute angle with the surface of the matrix (2), while the holes (21) of the matrix (2) from the side of the pushing element (3, 31, 32) have a recess (211) or a change in the shape of the edge of the hole (21), which increases the surface roughness of the matrix (2) compared to the surface roughness (313, 322) of the pushing element (3, 31, 32), moreover, the pushing element (3, 31, 32) is located above the surface of the matrix (2) at a distance less than the size of the granules of the supplied granular dry ice, and the largest transverse size of the holes (21) of the matrix (2) is less than the largest size of the granules of the supplied granulated ice, while under the matrix (2) there is an outlet (13) for transferring crushed granular ice to a device for mixing dry ice particles with a gaseous medium flow.
EFFECT: use of standard 3 to 3.5 mm granular dry ice without the need to additionally prepare smaller granular ice.
