FIELD: foodstuff cooling, carbonated drinks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installations for the production of dry ice tiles from liquefied carbon dioxide. The installation includes a housing, a sleeve with perforated walls with a movable piston installed in it, a lid, a chamber, channels for supplying liquid carbon dioxide and removing gaseous carbon dioxide. U-shaped grooves are made on the outer surfaces of the sleeve at the interface points with the housing, forming a sealed closed cavity with the housing, connected to the chamber by means of perforated holes and connected by additional channels to the shut-off valve and pressure valve. In the lower part of the housing, heating elements for the evaporation of liquefied CO₂ gas are placed under the groove. The lid is installed with the possibility of axial movement for unloading dry ice tiles.

EFFECT: provides an increase in the density and strength of dry ice tiles.
