FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for separation of a mixture of cyclohexene-water-cyclohexanone-N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, obtained as a result of cyclohexene oxidation in the presence of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone as a solvent. The method consists in that at the first stage, preliminary delamination of the four-component mixture is performed in Florentine vessel 1 with selection of an aqueous layer as a product flow and an organic layer. The organic layer, after heating to a boiling temperature in heat exchanger 2, is directed to further separation in rectification column 3 into cyclohexene with water impurity and a mixture of cyclohexanone-N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone. As a result of separation of the mixture of cyclohexanon-N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, in a distillate of rectification column 4, a target product – cyclohexanone with purity of at least 99.9 mol.%, and in the bottom – N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone with purity of at least 99.5 mol.% are isolated.

EFFECT: separation of a reaction mixture enriched with cyclohexene and water into practically pure components, i.e., components satisfying existing requirements to the quality of commodity products.
