FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of vinylisobutyl ester that a reactive monomer used for production of lacquers and glue. Method involves vinylation reaction of isobutanol in the presence of potassium alkaline as a catalyst at 130-150 C under pressure 1.4-1.5 ati at acetylene inlet. Process is carried out as a rule in continuous reaction-fractionating regime at countercurrent contact of acetylene feeding on bottom or reactor and 0.2-2 wt.-% of KOH in isobutanol feeding on upper part of reaction zone in the ratio 2:1 mole/mole and at value of parameter of process control P/W = 8 mole/mole or 8 rev/rev. Then the obtained reaction mass is separated by heteroazeotropic rectification by two- column scheme to yield heteroazeotrope ester/water as a distillate from the first column followed by its separation for organic and aqueous layers, distillation of organic layer in the second fractionating column and with withdrawal concentrated isobutanol from vat of the first fractionating column and its recovery to recycle. EFFECT: increased yield of ester, decreased consumption indices by parent substances due to their regeneration. 3 tbl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
