FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology, in particular to methods for switching a macroscopic state of polaritons, using one photon. An exciton reservoir is formed by means of optical pumping with sufficient density to provide a condition of random polariton condensation into the main state, wherein energy of one exciton in the reservoir must exceed own energy of one polariton in the main state by a value of energy of one molecular oscillation; polariton in the main state is formed by means of resonant fuse with one photon; spatial and time overlap between resonant fuse and optical pumping is optimized; polarization of resonant fuse and optical pumping is optimized.
EFFECT: increase in a size of a macroscopic wave function of polaritons in the main state due to an increase in a number of particles in condensate.
