SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to evaluate protection against exposure to a powerful RF emitter. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that the educational and laboratory installation for evaluating the effectiveness of protection against the impact of the simplest simulator of a powerful radio frequency emitter based on a magnetron is a series of interconnected technical devices, such as a simple simulator of a powerful radio frequency emitter, a device for simulating weather conditions, a performance meter of the simulator and protection from its effects, while to simulate weather conditions, rain is simulated from a spray device, fog is simulated using a device for thermal sublimation of mixtures, which is distributed in the volume of the chamber through which radio frequency radiation passes, in addition, to simulate weather conditions, various protective materials and barriers within the working space of the installation and measurements are taken using a measuring device.
EFFECT: providing the ability to investigate radio frequency radiation in various weather conditions, during precipitation, in conditions of smoke formations and the presence of obstacles along the path of radiation.
