FIELD: educating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical equipment intended for teaching cadets and attendees of military educational institutions the basics of damaging action and principles of protection against laser weapons, simulation of impact thereof on various materials and biological objects, and evaluation of the effectiveness of protection against said action. Educational and laboratory unit for evaluating the effectiveness of protection against the impact of a simplest laser weapon simulator constitutes a number of interconnected technical apparatuses, such as a simplest laser weapon simulator, an apparatus for simulating weather conditions, a set of meters for the characteristics of the simulator and protection against the impact thereof. Modelling of weather conditions and generation of smoke formations in the laboratory unit.
EFFECT: more detailed analysis of laser emission in laboratory conditions.
