SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry and can be used in areas with sandy soils and a ground water table close to the surface. The method for creating forest crops on waterlogged sandy lands includes tillage using implements forming micro-elevations in the form of ridges, planting plants in rows along the longitudinal axis of the ridges, agrotechnical tending between the rows. The ridges are placed transversely to the prevailing erosive winds with a distance between the longitudinal axes thereof exceeding the height of mature plants. Bushes with a dense crown, not sensitive to soil fertility and resistant to salinisation, are used as plants, and agrotechnical tending is conducted between the ridges until sand banks with a height of no less than 1 m are formed under the rows of plants.
EFFECT: method improves the conditions of plant growth, namely: mineral nutrition, water/air and microbiological regimens of the root-inhabited layer, prevents premature death of plants from damping and salinisation of the soil.
