FIELD: meteorology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to meteorological devices. Essence: the atmospheric condition meter contains two pairs of ultrasonic sensors (9) for operation as emitters and receivers mounted on the housing (1) through vibration isolators (10), a temperature sensor (11) and an absolute pressure sensor (13). The ultrasonic sensors (9) are orthogonal to each other in pairs, the acoustic axes of the ultrasonic sensors (9) are directed downwards at the reflector. Ultrasonic sensors (9) are connected to a time interval measuring device (2) connected to a computing device (7). The device (2) for measuring time intervals consists of four galvanically isolated generators (3) of electrical signals, four blocks (8) of galvanic isolation, a multiplexer (4), an amplifier (5), an analog-to-digital converter (6). On the housing (1), equidistantly from the ultrasonic sensors (9), the temperature sensor (11) is installed connected to the computing device (7). The absolute pressure sensor (13) is also connected to the computing device (7).

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measuring the longitudinal and transverse components of the horizontal wind speed when the meter is operating in difficult conditions.
