FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device for controlling the acoustic noise propagation in residential areas includes an ultrasonic thermal anemometer comprising several pairs of ultrasonic emitters/receivers oriented towards each other, and an information processing device connected therewith by the connection channel, wherein it additionally comprises an acoustic sensor, a computing device, and a display device, wherein the output of the acoustic sensor is connected to the information processing device by the communication channel, which, in turn, is connected to the computing device by the communication channel, and the computing device is connected to the display device.

EFFECT: improving the forecast quality of the acoustic-noise contamination distribution deep into the residential areas.
