FIELD: measurements.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended to determine the parameters of the air flow (speed and direction) and ambient temperature. The device comprises eight ultrasonic transceivers (1), a control and calculation unit, a signal conditioner. The transceivers (1) are installed at the tops of an imaginary antiprism at the ends of mutually perpendicular horizontal axes, fixed in the brackets (3) of the frame at two levels: upper and lower. The brackets (3) are connected by the central post (2). The transceivers (1) of the lower level are installed with the membrane up, and the transceivers of the upper level are installed with the membrane down. A preliminary estimate of the wind speed vector is performed based on the measurement results of all ultrasonic transceivers. The direction of shading is determined. The combination of ultrasonic transceivers excludes data transmitted by those transceivers that are in the shadow zone. The final value of the vector of wind speed and air temperature is calculated.

EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy.
