FIELD: chemical and pharmaceutical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, namely to a drug for complex treatment of periodontal diseases in the form of ointment. The proposed ointment includes a base and an alcohol extract of a vegetable collection. At the same time, polyethylene oxide of a composition PEO 400 – 20% and PEO 500 – 80% is used as the base, and lysozyme, aqueous extract of oak bark, sea buckthorn oil, and phytocomplex are used as active substance at the following ratio of components, wt.%: lysozyme 1.0-1.5, aqueous extract of oak bark 5.0-7.0, sea buckthorn oil 5.0-7.0, phytocomplex 10.0-11.0, polyethylene oxide of a composition PEO 400 – 20%, and PEO 500 – 80% is the rest. Moreover, phytocomplex is 50% evaporated alcohol extract of a mixture of dry herbs of calendula, nettle, and sophora japonica, taken in equal amounts.

EFFECT: proposed ointment is effective for complex treatment of periodontal diseases, easy to manufacture, and it can be implemented at chemical and pharmaceutical enterprises, when using standard equipment.
