SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electronic evaporation technologies, and in particular to an evaporator and an electronic evaporation device containing an evaporator. An evaporator is disclosed containing: a housing equipped with a liquid storage chamber for liquid storage and a liquid outlet communicating with a liquid storage chamber; an evaporative component mounted on the housing, and the liquid storage chamber is capable of supplying liquid to the evaporative component through a liquid outlet; and the on-off component connected to the housing and having the first position and the second position. When the on-off component is in the first position, the on-off component blocks the liquid outlet; and when the on-off component is in the second position, the on-off component opens the liquid outlet. The housing contains the main part and the insulating part connected to each other, the insulating part and the main part form the first chamber and the second chamber, the evaporative component is partially placed in the first chamber, and the remaining part of the first chamber, except for the space for accommodating the evaporative component, forms a liquid storage chamber; and the on-off component is located in the second camera. In this case, the on-off component engages with the second camera with the ability to move. The second chamber is a cylindrical chamber, and the on-off component contains a cylindrical guide rod.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at ensuring the prevention of leakage from the evaporator.
