FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an evaporator. Evaporator comprises a reservoir configured to contain a liquid evaporated material, wherein the reservoir is at least partially confined by at least one wall, wherein the reservoir comprises an accumulation chamber and an overflow volume, a sprayer configured to convert the liquid evaporated material into a gas phase state, a primary passage providing a fluid connection between the accumulation chamber and the sprayer, and a collector located in the overflow volume. At that, collector contains capillary structure made with possibility to keep volume of liquid evaporated material in fluid contact with accumulation chamber. Capillary structure comprises a microfluidic element configured to prevent air and fluid bypass relative to each other during filling and emptying of the manifold.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve control of evaporated material leaks from evaporator, to control air flow inside and/or near evaporator, and also to control condensate in evaporator.
