SUBSTANCE: systems simulating the process of smoking. The vaporizer cartridge comprises a reservoir body having a storage chamber configured to hold the first portion of the vaporized substance. The dosing chamber is configured to hold the second portion of the vaporized substance and includes a first heating element located therein to vaporize a part of the second portion of the vaporized substance. Evaporation of a part of the second portion of the evaporated substance generates one or more pressure pulses. The metering chamber is further configured to selectively meter at least another part of the second portion of the volatilized substance through at least one dispensing orifice in response to the formation of said one or more pressure pulses generated in the dispensing chamber. The evaporation chamber is in fluid communication with the dosing chamber and is configured to receive dosed vaporizable material from the dispensing chamber for evaporation.
