FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in power hydraulic cylinders, for example in jacks, for long-term fixation of the rod in an arbitrary position. The friction grip of the power cylinder rod includes a spring, a collet clamp in the form of split rings and a clamping ring, and a piston. The friction gripper of the rod is assembled in the cavity of the fixed rod on a fixed rod, connected at one end to the fitting for supplying the working fluid to the piston cavity formed by the fitting, the gripper cover fixed on the rod, and the gripper body. The friction gripper contains sealing rings on the piston, a restrictive cage with a spring placed inside, which ensures the fixation of the split rings in the axial direction, and a guide element fixed on the fitting, and the collet clamp is configured to move on the fitting under the influence of the piston to unlock the rod when the working fluid is supplied to the piston cavity, and with the ability to move under the influence of a spring to fix the rod for its inner surface when the pressure in the piston cavity decreases.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the friction grip of the rod.
