SUBSTANCE: personal hygiene item with a digital element includes an outer personal hygiene item for absorption of biological fluids and an electroconductivity sensor node located inside the personal hygiene item, including a pair of conductive elements placed in parallel with a mirror reflection along a perimeter of the personal hygiene item, wherein one of the pair of conductive elements passes from a connection point in the clockwise direction, and the other one from the pair of conductive elements passes from the connection point in the counterclockwise direction, and at least one connector directly contacting with the pair of conductive elements, wherein the specified electroconductivity sensor node generates a signal indicating leakage of fluid in the specified personal hygiene item, when fluid reaches a zone between the pair of conductive elements. At the same time, the specified electroconductivity sensor node is located and made with the possibility of communication with a smart portable electronic device directly or via a wireless connection.
