FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of a method for obtaining a polymer nanocomposite material with reduced flammability. This method involves extraction of the initial polymers by the mechanism of crazing in a liquid adsorption-active medium (AAM) containing dissolved aluminum or magnesium salt to obtain a mesoporous polymer matrix. After impregnation in the resulting matrix, in situ hydrolysis of the introduced aluminum or magnesium salts is carried out at room temperature in the presence of an alkaline medium until the formation of aluminum or magnesium hydroxide nanoparticles. Next, the resulting matrix with nanoparticles is dried in a jet of compressed air until a constant weight is reached under isometric conditions. Industrial partially crystalline polyolefins with a degree of crystallinity of more than 20% are used as starting polymers.
EFFECT: development of a simple method for producing polymer products with reduced flammability without the use of toxic and unsafe reagents for humans and the environment, the creation of polymer materials with reduced flammability, having good mechanical characteristics.
