SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in the operation of an oil well. A method for operating a production well is claimed, including lowering and tight landing in the production string above the productive formation of a packer with a branch pipe with a guide cone, lowering into the well on the rods of a sucker rod pump - SRP with a lock on the cylinder until tight interaction with the locking support, selection of formation products, stopping SRP and injection of working agent and/or reagents into the reservoir. In this case, before running the packer, the packer is equipped with a continuous longitudinal channel that remains open after the packer is installed in the production string and is equipped with a spring-loaded valve that can be kept closed while holding the liquid column above the packer. Moreover, when the working agent and/or reagents are injected into the reservoir, excess pressure is created in the production string to open the spring-loaded valve and flow the working agent and/or reagents from the above-packer space of the production string into the under-packer space and further into the reservoir.

EFFECT: creation of a method for operating a production well, which allows injection of a working agent and/or reagents immediately after the SRP is stopped along the casing string due to the presence of a through channel in the packer, which, as a result, saves a large amount of working time.
