PROCEDURE FOR REPAIR OF ANNULUS SPACE OF STRING BOREHOLE WITH TWO EXPOSED FORMATIONS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC E21B33/13 

FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in lowering running packer on pipe string. The packer is equipped with a nipple with side openings and with a plug fixed from below; the nipple performs lengthwise travels in a lengthwise opening of the packer. Upon packer seating between two exposed formations a protective composition is pumped into a lower formation via side openings of the nipple below the packer. Further the pipe string with the nipple is lifted and a blocking composition is pumped into above-the packer space of the well. Further, the side openings of the nipple are arranged below the packer and the blocking composition is pumped into the upper formation. The pipe string with the nipple is lifted above the packer and solidifying grouting mortar is pumped into the above-the packer space. The pipe string is lifted to fix the plug in a through channel of the packer. Excesses of mortar are washed off and forced through into annular space of the well. Upon grouting mortar setting the packer is drilled out.

EFFECT: maintaining collector properties of formation after repair due to prevention of mudding with solid grouting mortar; saving time of insulating operations and increasing their reliability.
